Walnut Sauce

Second to pesto, walnut sauce is another typical Ligurian sauce. It has a creamy texture, ivory color and a sweet taste in which it is possible to identify the flavour of the nuts, and it perfectly fits with ravioli and pansoti di magro (similar to ravioli, but with a triangular shape).
