Our value-added starts from the selection of the basil and continues with the seeding and reaping, following a procedure that combines tradition and innovation.
Once ready, the basil gets harvested and taken directly to the laboratory where, together with the other carefully selected ingredients (extra virgin olive oil, Italian pine nuts, parmigiano reggiano dop, grana padano, pecorino romano, Italian garlic and sea salt), it becomes the raw material for the preparation of our Genoese Pesto. Our pesto is a fresh, tasty and genuine product handcrafted according to the Genoese culinary tradition.
We have at heart every stage of the production; that is why our company implements careful checks on the whole agri-food production chain by adhering to the high quality standards that regulate the industry (BRC – IFS). Also, at an international level, our product has been awarded the Superior Taste Award by a jury of experienced European chefs, receiving the highest score of three stars in both 2016 and 2020.
